Hofert Jewelers was opened by Herbert Hofert Sr. in 1929
and is still operated by the same family.
Herbert Jr. & William retired in the mid 1990's and their respective sons now run the third generation business.
Pepper Hofert was trained in Switzerland as a
Swiss-trained watchmaker. His expertise is in the ability to repair all makes of watches.
Dominic Hofert was educated at the Gemological Institute of America, recognized as the world's foremost authority in
gemology. He specialized in the study of diamonds and colored stones, earning a graduate gemological degree.
The feel of the store is one of a well established and
trusted business with the original wooden jewelry cases intact. Hofert offers a wide selection of fine jewelry including diamonds and colored stones alike.
The store has their own in-store jeweler completing all
types of repairs and can also do custom work such as creating jewelry from a picture.
Hofert also has a complete gift department including crystal, brass, pewter, silver, bridal gifts and watches.
